The 2013/2014 shelter will be held again in church halls in Horley, Reigate, Redhill and Chipstead for rough sleepers for 13 weeks from 2nd December 2013. We will be providing friendly, welcoming, non-judgemental hospitality which includes an evening meal and bed and breakfast for up to 15 guests each night.

The Winter Night Shelter has been supported by over 400 volunteers from the established faith groups and members of the wider community. Last year 25 rough sleepers were provided with a warm and secure place to sleep during the coldest part of the year.

At the Shelter, we will also provide some medical and other services. We also help guests to continue to engage with Reigate and Banstead and Tandridge Councils for advice and support for claiming benefits and to pursue move-on accommodation for them.

The Shelter is hosted in local church halls one night of the week each, so it rotates around 7 different venues.

Guests can only gain entry to the Winter Night Shelter by being referred by one of the Referral Agencies listed under Who We Are.
