Welcome

THE 2014/2015 REIGATE & BANSTEAD WINTER NIGHT SHELTER OPENS ON 22nd DECEMBER 2014

The 2014/2015 Reigate & Banstead Winter Night Shelter will be held in different venues each evening, in Horley, Reigate, Redhill and Chipstead providing a safe place to sleep for the homeless or vulnerably housed people for 11 weeks from 22nd December 2014. We will be providing friendly, welcoming, non-judgmental hospitality that includes an evening meal and bed and breakfast for up to 15 guests each night. During the week RBWNS provide a Drop-in in Redhill, where lunch as well as other services are on offer. Our aim is to help the guests engage with Reigate and Banstead and Tandridge Councils, support agencies and to pursue move-on accommodation.

The Winter Night Shelter has been supported by over 400 volunteers from the established faith groups and members of the wider community. Last year 21 rough sleepers were provided with a warm and secure place to sleep during the coldest part of the year.

During the week RBWNS provide a Drop-in in Redhill, where lunch and other services are on offer. Our aim is to help the guests engage with Reigate and Banstead and Tandridge Councils, support agencies and to pursue move-on accommodation.

The Shelter is hosted in local church halls one night a week, rotating around different venues.

Guests can only gain entry to the Winter Night Shelter by contacting and being referred by one of the Referral Agencies listed under Who We Are.
