THE 2014/2015 REIGATE & BANSTEAD WINTER NIGHT SHELTER Ran from 22nd DECEMBER 2014 - 9th March 2015

Moving between different venues, manned by the good will and help of many volunteers in Chipstead, Horley, Merstham, Redhill, Reigate and South Nutfield and financially supported by those and other churches, Reigate and Banstead and Tandridge Borough Councils and many individuals, we were able to provide a safe place to sleep for those local people who had found themselves homeless.

We provided a friendly, welcoming, non-judgmental Drop-In meeting place 5 days a week until the end of March 2015 when our lease at Cromwell Road expired and we were unable to renew it. Up to 25 people per day 'dropped in' to have a hot drink, lunch or just chat and gain support from one another. We had just under a thousand visits between November 2014 and the end of March 2015.

It is a great sadness to those used to the camaraderie of those meetings that Renewed Hope Trust has been 'HOMELESS' this past month.

At present we have no clear vision of where God is directing us.

If you have any idea of a place where the Drop-In could meet even short term, please contact me.

I am already making contact with churches and other organisations looking to book venues for the coming winter.

I will update the website with more information during the summer.
